ON THE WAY TO MAJULI ISLAND, ASSAM

This video was taken during our ferry service trip to majuli Island from Nimati Ghat [which one operating by Assam Government inland water transport department]. This Nimati ghat is on the North of Jorhat town about 13 KM from JORHAT ISBT[ Inter state bus Terminus], The local micro buses were taken around Rs 20- 25 INR, AND Thereafter the ferry trip around 4 to 5 KM in the river Brahmaputra, the Department [ferry service] is charging around Rs 20/- INR for Oneway travel. It Takes around 45 TO 60 MINUTE for reach at Kamalabari Satra, Jetty station in Majuli Island.
